On Requiem

On the first Saturday of each month, there's a World of Darkness LARP run at the University of Auckland using the new MET rules. It's something that I have a lot of fun playing in, but very nearly didn't go to last night due to lack of energy and crappy weather. Joel (bless him) and his wife Lorraine (bless her) gave me a lift in with a guaranteed lift home.

And I am so pleased I went.

I had little idea as to what I was going to be able to do. Turns out things happened around me that required my attention. Also an opportunity arose to have a (very minor) influence in the status of the city. And somehow... I managed to gain a point of status myself! *grins* Pity it's the last game that I can play in for a few months.... but that's how things unfold sometimes.

But all in all - very pleased I went.
