Things and things
Feb. 4th, 2008 09:56 am2 games - one LARP and one tabletop... yeah, I'm back in the gaming scene again. One gamer itch, scratched! That isn't counting the WoT game I play with
janetlin, but it's so much more fun to play with others and that is what I've been missing for quite a while.
Swordfighting has been held for a bit - body aches and lack of sleep from late nights are the key reasons there.
The weather is good, I'm enjoing life and things are settling down smoothly.
Just one last things left to do - find a job.

On Games, Plots and Plannings
Sep. 2nd, 2007 11:08 amWell... I put the word out that I was thinking of pulling together a victorian era steampunk game. And lo, a great many words came back along the lines of "Yes please", "I'm in", "HELL YES!" and "If you're just teasing me with this, I am going to kill you."
So, in the spirit of fairness and all things enjoyable... and the fact I like living... I am pleased to announce that the one off game of Britannica Pages is now being created.
With 5 playable races - Humans, Trolls, Dwarves, Elves and Half Fae (Seelie and Unseelie), it is a world where Magic and Mad Science live alongside status and class in a strange mix. Now I was going to use the rules for Victoriana, but due to a sheer lack of time, I've decided to pull together the game myself.
Now, to answer some questions that have already cropped up.
So there you are. That's what's there for the moment. Any help with the nudging of the game system is appreciated, because the sooner I can issue the rules and setting for people to start pouring over.
Let the insanity begin!

Aug. 19th, 2007 11:44 amSo I've been watching people and their games over the last few weeks and months... and it's finally convinced me to pull out the world I've been tinkering with over the last while.
Dareen.
For those of you who were Mordavians, you'll recognise the name. Ok, so I like the name a lot, and with the land of Mordavia now legend, I can use the name again :)
I got bored at work a few days ago and worked out the present calendar, gods and lunar cycles, as well as the major festivals based on the Lunar cycles. It's all still very much in genesis and I'm trying to keep some strong flexibility about it. Heck - I do it right, I might well set a LARP there.
decisions, decisions...
