And so, it is time for an ending.

It's been a very interesting year, new sights seen, new places explored and old crap dealt with at last.

And thus, the life in Edinburgh starts winding towards a definite close.

Yes, my ticket is booked... but not for the dates I really wanted, and all because of that most ancient of evils - money.

NAAMA will be missed this year. A pity - it is something I had been looking forwards to. But... perhaps 'tis for the best. Jetlagged and being unable to fight? Not a happy fruitbat.

But the ticket is indeed booked for myself - Sierra's will follow as soon as I can afford it. And I have a lot of faith that we will be sitting together - I've reserved my seat, and wll be reserving hers right next t me. The joy of a 2 seat section - people are damned unlikely to specifically request the seat next to the one you've chosen.

Ladies and gentlemen, Sierra and I will be arriving in NZ on Wednesday January 16th at around 5:10am on Flight NZ 7

It's been a good year overall :)

Not an easy decision to make - having to miss NAAMA. But at the end of the day, It was a decision that had to be made in order to get the bulk of what I wanted.

However, Wellington is on the list of places that Sierra and I will be travelling to - so you will not be missing out on Fruitbatage ;)

I'll even try and whip by Cat's as well.
